Welcome
CANTINE FERRARI

Give yourself a rare and unrepeatable experience

It was in that torrid summer of 1949 that Mr. Antonio Ferrari decided to make his dream a reality. He chose only centuries-old vines to sapling exposed to the sea, thinned the grapes as no one did yet, then withered the clusters of primitive, kept them 10 years in wooden barrels and then transferred them to ripen in concrete tanks until they were ready.70 years later, yesterday 1 July 2020, his son Umberto watching the Baron 54 overflow from the tanks for an increase in temperature , after tasting the wines exclaimed "The time has come, they are ready! "  and to my question" but now  how long will they last in bottle ? ".................. another hundred years!    answered

My name is  Antonio Angelo ,  in the quality of Exclusive world distributor   here I am to present them :

Fabio Rizzari :

Fashion favours wines of pimping fruity vivacity, to drink within 15 days from the market release. In contrast, the Antonio Ferrari winery (grapes
puglia, winemaking in Piedmont) distributes extraordinary redssweets of the 1959 and 1949 vintages. Obtained from primitive grapes, they are miracles  nature: their strength has come almost intact to us, defying decades of maturation .

LE GUIDE DE L' ESPRESSO -     A RIGOROUS SELECTION OF THE BEST ITALIAN WINES AND PRODUCERS
Galliate's Ferrari is one of the very few exceptions in this edition of the guide. No scores or symboleous, just the desire to make better known a winery different from the dozens of companies born in these years for pure entrepreneurial calculation. Founded in '36 by Antonio Ferrari, a Piedmontese with a passion for Puglia, it has always won in Novara primitive Tarantino grapes (from vineyards almost a hundred years). The wines, sweet and powerful as few, are very original, and not only because they were put on the market decades after the harvest.

Those who love real wines should try at least one bottle

Il 49 di Antonio Ferrari - Denso creamy, balancedly sweet, vital despite age.

Il Barone 54 - Cocoa Bitter, Coffee, Liquorice, less heroic than other corporate wines but still amazing.

Solaria Jonica 1959 - Soft and velvety and at the same time detonating mining force

 VERONELLI 's wines

Antonio Ferrari was convinced that the Puglian vines, especially the primitive, needed a very long aging to develop unique and unreachable notes and nuances. This certainty, stubbornly defending against everything and all, allows us to taste today wines of ancient and excellent vintages, witnesses of a pre-modern viticulture.

VINI D'ITALIA  - GAMBERO ROSSO

.............. Dulcis in fundo, It is a kind of "find" of a bathtub of a great Primitive of the '59 vintage, which expresses an elegance and such complex depth to make it a star among the meditation wines.
